Meet Dr. Troy
“I was 14 years old when I went to a Chiropractor with horrible neck pain due to wrestling and motorcycle racing. The doctor educated me not only about my pain but about the healing power within our bodies and our amazing nervous systems. Not only did my neck pain resolve but also my asthma drastically improved.”
“From the amazing results I had received through my own Chiropractic treatment I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor and help people the same way he helped me. I realized I wanted to become an educator on how to live a life of wellness and an abundance of health and vitality. I love my work and thank God everyday that I am able to witness the miracles and goals of our practice member’s.”
After graduating from Borah High School in 1988 Dr. Troy began his pre-chiropractic education at Boise State University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. After receiving his first degree he continued his schooling at The Palmer College of Chiropractic where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995. He has been affiliated with the Motion Palpation Institute from 1992-1995 and is currently a member of the International Chiropractic Association (ICA) and the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians (IACP). He has completed additional educational trainings in Advanced Training in Whiplash and Injury Treatment taught by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He continues to increase his knowledge of state of the art adjusting techniques and protocols by attending various seminars and conferences at a minimum of six times a year.

We are here to support you in your healthcare goals, whether it is relief of pain, spinal rehabilitation or wellness care. We guarantee your visit will be an educational, professional and caring experience.
I have an amazing wife, Crystal. We each brought two wonderful children into our blended family. There is nothing that I love more than to be spending quality time with them. We enjoy many outdoor activities in the Boise area but most often find ourselves riding bicycles, playing basketball, going for motorcycle rides, swimming, and/or spending time with family and friends. I have a few passions of my own that take me through each beautiful season Idaho has to offer. In the winter I really enjoy snowmobiling, late spring I love to go kayaking in Idaho’s amazing rivers, summer is filled with boating with friends and a beautiful fall day is so enjoyed by riding my motorcycle.
We live a natural lifestyle and my children have received the best chiropractic care since they were born. I strive to keep my body healthy through activities such as Cross fit, running, mountain biking in the hills and walking. I live a balanced life through proper nutrition, exercise, positive mental attitude and most importantly maintaining the health of my spine and nervous system through Chiropractic care!
I work on a computer 10 hours a day and also 'try' to stay active, so I'm prone to neck and back tightness and stiffness. Dr. Troy has done an incredible job keeping me out of pain and really promotes preventative work to keep me healthy. The staff is super nice and the overall setup is very professional. I would highly recommend his office!
Very glad I found a chiropractor to trust and have their help! Very great customer service & advise! Dr. Norris is working with my recent accident and history of Fibromyalgia. Not to mention their office is beautiful and check in system is easy. 😁 I'm feeling better and better everyday thank goodness!
At your first visit to Balance Chiropractic Clinic, Dr. Troy Norris will explain how chiropractic care works and give you a full evaluation to see if our chiropractic solutions are a good fit to address your needs. If there is a good fit, we can customize a plan of Boise chiropractic care for your condition and health goals.
