It's Time To Feel Better
Start HereHi. Doctor Troy here. I oftentimes get asked the question, ‘Can you help somebody with back disc herniation?’ I wanted to go over a little case study that we had. We had a lady that came into the office. It’s been a few months now.
She came in with a disc herniation on the left side of her neck, contributing to numbness and tingling down into her left arm, horrific pain throughout upper portion of her back and her neck. When she came in, she was obviously scared, was in a lot of pain. We assessed the situation and saw that she had degenerative changes in her neck, as well as she had signs of a disc herniation.
We started off with chiropractic care, and we used more of a low force technique. A lot of people say, ‘Well, how can you help somebody in that much pain?’ We have techniques that we’re able to utilize less force, per se, so that it’s not painful and irritating to you as a patient. I want to make sure that’s known.
We started off with spine chiropractic care. We were noticing some results, but they weren’t as good as we had hoped. We discussed utilizing the other tools that we have in the office, k laser therapy as well as spinal decompression. She was a candidate for both of those. We began the protocol, taking care of her there. Improvement was continuing.
Her medical doctor sent her into the neurosurgeon. Neurosurgeon said, ‘Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re getting better.’ An MRI was ordered. It was confirmed there was a disc herniation on the left side of her neck that was impinging upon the nervous system.
We continued treating her. To this day, she’s doing awesome. We were able to reduce all the nerve stress and irritation, so her arm pain is gone, as well as the neck pain that she was suffering from and upper thoracic pain.
For you or any of your friends that feel you have a disc herniation, know there is a way to treat that and treat that without it being really painful. Give our office a call at (208) 344-4469. We specialize in difficult cases. Give our office a call, once again at (208) 344-4469. Colette or Jonni will get you scheduled to come in and see if you’re a candidate for our services. If not, we also have alliances with other health care professionals that I will not hesitate to refer you to. We look forward to seeing you. Call us today. Thank you very much.
